The 2013 Penn State Security Conference will take place on October 28-29, 2013 at the Nittany Lion Inn on the University Park campus.

DAY ONE (October 28): - Day One will focus on broader, more universal security topics and include topic tracks, tools demos, and networking opportunities.
- Prerequisites: Open to all Penn State staff, faculty, and students.

DAY TWO (October 29): - Day Two presentations will focus on security topics specific to Penn State IT staff.
- Prerequisites: Must be a Penn State IT staff member

Damian Futrick is a Security Analyst for the Office of Information Security (OIS). He's primarily responsible for maintaining the University's Vulnerability Scanning infrastructure and leveraging its data to help secure University systems. Prior to hiring on at OIS, he worked as a Systems Administrator for 14 years.
