The 2013 Penn State Security Conference will take place on October 28-29, 2013 at the Nittany Lion Inn on the University Park campus.

DAY ONE (October 28): - Day One will focus on broader, more universal security topics and include topic tracks, tools demos, and networking opportunities.
- Prerequisites: Open to all Penn State staff, faculty, and students.

DAY TWO (October 29): - Day Two presentations will focus on security topics specific to Penn State IT staff.
- Prerequisites: Must be a Penn State IT staff member

This session will introduce you to resources and strategies you can utilize with shepherding increased security awareness to the users you support.

Mike Leach is a system and network security analyst with SOS where he currently serves as the PCI compliance coordinator. He began his Penn State career with TNS-Network Operations Center in 1993 and has progressed through various roles of network installation and customer support, including leading the IPAS Project. Systems and Network Security Analyst with the Office of Information Security (OIS) for 3 years. Prior to OIS, Network Manager at PSU Hazleton for 16+ years. Current responsibilities include administration and support of the central encryption tool, lead analyst for IT security assessments, process liaison for several service management processes.
